this was a great place to stay in new york, i really appreciated its proximity to a subway line, (using the subway is a must if you are traveling around the city) and plus i love central park. i only wish there were lockers in the room, everything else was great.

Simply, don't stay here! Unless your only other option is the street... Stayed in 3 hostels in NY, this was by far the worst, I'm not particularly fussy but on arrival we read in the comments book in the reception area (also where you are forced to leave all your luggage) that a guy woke up with a rat in his bed and we over heard the staff talking about exterminators... no air conditioning- on the 4th floor in a room with 8 girls in 37 degrees its awful! And the bathrooms aren't great, dead flie

I just stayed one night, so I don't really know about this accommodation a lot. But it was ok, but I think the price could have been cheaper.

The location of this hostel il very good but it's not possible to let your bag in the room because there is no lock on the bedroom's door. you have to let it at the office who close at 11pm. beds was very bad. And we have booked for a room for women and for 8 and we were in a mixed room for 10...

Good location but probably the least satisfactory hostel experience I've had in 4 months travelling. No AC - extremely hot, got very little sleep. No locks on the bedroom doors!!!?? Surely the whole point of a hostel is to serve as a safehouse for you and your belongings?! No backpacks allowed in rooms!! We were told off for having them in our rooms whilst trying to pack them for our departure the following morning. The reception is cluttered with suitcases and backpacks as a result of this absu
