As others have noted, the bathrooms seem in slightly short supply. However, I stayed in the basement, where only two dorms were sharing a bathroom (didn't check the other floors), and I got up early, so I didn't have problems. Cozy living room... For dinner, try out the "Bengal Tiger" resturant just down the lane - if Indian food turns you on at all... Based on the experience *I* had, I have no problems recommending this hostel.

Decent place for the price. No soap for the toilets or towels included. Bring your own and locks for the lockers. The place charges 3.5 pounds for one small worn looking towel. Breakfast is good. Showers are clean. Nice crowd of people stay there.

i really liked that you had a resturant in your hostel. I think that overall, your hostel was very good and i would recommend it to others.

I suffer from breathlessness , I am 52 yrs old. Inspite of having rooms available on lower floors the two young girls at the check-in desk gave me 2nd floor. Was this racism bcoz I was Indian ?. I have been staying in youth hostels all over the world since a very young age. This is the first time I have encontered this attitude. The two gentlemen who were at the front desk when I left were very helpful.

Room 24: Under the mattress and some linen were dirty. My friend had a bad time there because she's allergic to powder dust.
